Is It A Praise Or Satire On Trivikram?

A recent Social Media Post of Director Nag Ashwin made people think a lot. What is that all about? Mentioning about 'Khaleja', 'Leader', 'Panja', 'Orange', 'Andala Rakshasi', 'Dear Comrade' and his all-time favorite 'Apadbhandhavudu', The Filmmaker told Telugu Films he wished did better at the Box Office. He believes those films had changed the direction of Telugu Film Industry if they were money spinners.

Especially, Nag Ashwin asked people to imagine at what level Trivirkam's Writing would have been had if 'Khaleja' did well at the Box Office.

'Khaleja' mayn't have been a Box Office hit but it's definitely not a bad film. Movie Lovers couldn't connect to the core concept of 'Man who helps the needy becomes a Godly Figure' but they enjoyed every comedy punch and the writing thoroughly. It's the film which changed the coarse of Mahesh Babu's career. Never been before Mahesh looked such good at comic timing and there was no stopping for him thereafter. That's the film which made him open up and build his confidence when it comes to humour.

Nag Ashwin's comment on Trivikram appears like a praise and satire at the same time. Was he trying to convey Trivikram's Writing wasn't so great post 'Khaleja' even though he delivered mostly hits in the recent years?
