Why Does Queen Remake Have So Many Directors?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Jun 2018 5:43 PM GMTIn South Indian languages, "Queen", the Hindi movie is being remade by different directors and actresses.
The 2014 movie created a sensation and even improved on the market of Kangana Ranaut.
But in Telugu, Tamannah is playing the lead and Prashanth Verma is directing it. In Tamil, Kajal is playing the lead and Ramesh Aravind is directing it. He is also directing the Kannada version with Parul Yadav as the lead.
In Malayalam, Manjima Mohan is directing the show with yesteryear actress, Revathi as the director.
Well, many thought different versions with different directors might be the plan of the makers but Kajal posted selfies saying that they all are at Chennai at same location.
Now, the logic behind using same location, similar shot with different actors and different directors is completely lost with us.
Tamannah or Kajal have great market in all languages and using them, would pull enough crowds. When you don't have different locations or different versions, why there is a need for so many directors?
