Puratchi Thalavi Amma Jayalalitha died two years ago fighting with health issues for more than four months at Chennai Apollo Hospital.
Recently, her archnemesis Karunanidhi too died due to health issues and the state of Tamil Nadu, is waiting for new leaders to step up in place of the stalwarts.

While this political battle is going on, a new battle has ensued about Amma biopic. Vishnu Induri, who orchestrated NTR biopic, announced a biopic on Amma too.
To his surprise, Mysskin protege, Priyadarshini and Legendary director, Bharathiraja also announced biopics of Amma. Bharathiraja also announced that he will tie up with Ilayaraja and Bharadwaj will produce the film.
Vishnu Induri, anyways is taking a back step and he is keen to produce the movie and said that he finished the research on Jayalalitha which the team worked on for an year.
