Natural star Nani's movies might not get the deserved appreciation at the time of their release but he always makes sure that his films have a lot of quality. His choice of scripts is amazing and his last outing 'Ante Sundaraniki' is a perfect example. As we know, he arrived with 'Shyam Singha Roy' at the end of 2022 and scored a hit despite a lot of factors including Covid-19 going against it. This epic love story is directed by Rahul Sankrityan while Venkat Boyanapalli produced it on a high budget under Niharika Entertainment.
It got a unanimous positive response right from the beginning and the reception was terrific even when it was released on OTT giant Netflix. It received the highest rating on Netflix, and 'Shyam Singha Roy' was in the top trends for 10 weeks. Now, the film is getting a huge appreciation as it was sent for Oscar nominations in three categories. It was for the Best periodic film, best background score and best classical cultural dance Indie film categories. This is a huge achievement for the film's team and they are very elated by this.

Sai Pallavi and Krithi Shetty are heroines in this movie and it deals with serious subjects like Devadasi system and reincarnation. 'Premam' beauty Madonna Sebastian played a key role in this project. This film also has Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma, Abhinav Gomatham, Jishnusen Gupta, Leela Samson, Manish Vaadhva and others playing key roles. Sanu John Varghese was the director of photography. Avinash Kolla is the production designer while Neera Kona took care of the costumes. Naveen Nooli is the editor for this film.
