Ticket Price Hike Allowed For Adipurush In AP!

All eyes are now on the mythological drama Adipurush which is all set to hit the screens in a couple of days. The film is carrying high expectations and the pre-booking sales in the PVR-Inox chain gave an example of the craze around the film. The chain said that one lakh tickets were booked after the bookings were opened.
The Andhra Pradesh government came forward to allow the makers to hike the ticket price in the state. The ticket prices can be increased for single screens and multiplexes as well. This is a big boost for the makers of the film.
The state government earlier brought a GO to reduce the ticket prices saying that the poor cannot afford the prices. But the government issued a Government Order allowing the makers to go for ticket price hikes.
Adipurush is not like other films and it is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. If the film sets the box office on fire, then others will also get encouragement to make such films more.
It has to be mentioned here that the Telangana government also allowed the makers to go for the hike and the GO was issued the other day. Now it's the turn of the Andhra Pradesh government to give the GO. Both Telugu states gave a helping hand to the film.
