To Address Pending Issues, Telugu Producers Guild Halts Shoot

For the past few days, we have been hearing the news that the producers might halt the shootings for a brief period so that the producers can come together to discuss the issues that have to be addressed at the earliest. However, a few producers countered the claims saying that nothing has been fixed yet.
Now we got clarity in this regard as The Active Producers' Guild made it clear that the shootings will be halted. The halt will come into effect from the 1st of August and until they find workable resolutions, the shootings will be halted.
Annapurna Studios hosted the meeting and various issues were addressed at the meeting. It is said that the producers proposed fewer ticket rates saying that high prices are stopping movie lovers from coming to the theatres.
Earlier, the producer council said that it has a few issues that have to be addressed and discussed so that there will be no issues in making films. As the shootings will be halted, the producers will get some time to look into the issues.
With shoots getting stopped, the active producers in the industry will not have any other work and they can focus on addressing the issues.
It looks like the Producers Guild took the call to get the time from the producers and the body can get time from the producers to know what they are thinking about the issues and get the inputs from them in the meeting.
