'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' is the upcoming film of Akshay Kumar directed by Shree Narayan Singh. Bhumi Pednekar is the female lead of the movie. The trailer apears like a government ad.. but the content is strong.

Keshav(Akshay).. Jaya(Bhumi Pednekar) are from neighbouring villages. They fall in love with each other and get married later. After their first night, hero sister comes and asks Jaya to come for Lota Party (A women goes for open defacation for first time with villagers). Heroine got shocked.. and leaves to her own village. She tells her husband to build a toilet at home otherwise she will not comeback. What hero has done to construct a toilet ? As villagers have sentiments for constructing a toilet where they grow Tulsi plants.. how the hero changed their mind set is the theme of the film. We have seen Vidya Balan's TV commercial with the same theme.

The trailer appears to be funny.. but it is doubtful whether Akshay Kumar can score another big hit like his earlier films. Bhumi who appeared fat in her earlier film 'Dum Laga Ke Aisha' has appeared slim look in this film.
