Tollywood Ahead Of Other Industries This Way!

There is a lot in the way you look at things. An incident may appear fortunate from one person's perspective while the other person may feel different. In the same manner, our Tollywood is ahead of all the other film industries this year from this angle.
By the time the whole country went to lockdown, our Telugu film industry has more hits than anyone. Bollywood has only one hit in the first three months in the form of 'Taanhaji'. Expect that, no other film proved to be successful at the box-office. The same is the case with Kollywood. Rajnikanth's 'Darbar' got off to a flying start but the mediocre content dampened the film's chances of becoming a blockbuster. Dhanush's 'Pattas' ended up as an average and the rest of the films did not become big hits. Malayalam and Kannada industries too gave fewer hits in the first 2-3 months of 2020.
Coming to Tollywood, we had a great start in the form of 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo' and 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. Both Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu delivered blockbusters this Sankranti season. They were massive hits that broke many records. There were also some other successful films like Nithiin's 'Bheeshma' and Vishwak Sen's 'HIT'. Going by the statistics, Tollywood is currently ahead of others this year.
