Trade Buzz: Mister sinks, Linga steady & F8 rocks!

'Mister' fell short of expectations by a big margin and the negative impact could be seen on the Box Office revenues. Even it failed to use a Semi Holiday (Good Friday) mainly due to the poor reviews and bad word-of-mouth.
On Day 1, 'Mister' collected a Share of Rs 2.78 crore in Telugu States. Worldwide revenue is up to Rs 3.23 crore.
Trade Pundits say, 'Mister' should collect as much as it can in the opening Weekend. Even after trimming of over 10 minutes, It is likely to be removed from most number of screens from Monday if the collections kept dropping.
On the other hand, Lawrence and Rithika Singh starrer 'Shivalinga' is performing well in B and C Centers.
Hollywood flick 'Fast and Furious 8' opened to packed houses allover the country. It is expected to collect over Rs 100 crore in the domestic Box Office.
