Tollywood Director Wishes To Direct A Stage Play

Tollywood Mass Director Harish Shankar is very much known for his out and out mass commercial blockbusters. The dialogues and the goose bumps scenes in his films attract the audience to the core. There seems to be a different angle in this director. He is now in the forefront doing his bit for the needy during this COVID-19 lockdown.
Director Harish Shankar made big news recently when he came to the rescue of Surabhi Drama Company Artists. Knowing about the plight of Surabhi Artists, The young Director has sent 81 bags that were filled daily essentials.
Now the Director has opened up about his dream to direct a stage play by casting all the leading Surabhi actors. In a past Interview the Director revealed that he got the tinge for Telugu Literature through Thater and Stage plays when he spent his childhood in BHEL. He said that he has taken inspiration from eminent stage play actors like Misro, Naidu Gopi, Tanikella Bharani and Kota Srinivasa Rao.
The Director went on to say that prominent personalities like Naga Mohan Rao, Adabala, Lakshmaiah and BS Srinivas have encouraged him in stage plays and he even won many awards as a stage actor but went on to become an Assistant Director after MBA, ended the Director.
Harish Shankar is busy scripting yet another film with Power Star Pawan Kalyan after the stupendous success of their first collaboration 'Gabbar Singh'. Let's see if this Director directs a stage play very soon!
