Telugu Directors are looking for scripts!

Telugu Cinema Industry is the major Industry for Cinema in India after Hindi as we produce more than 200 films in a calendar year. Normally, our heroes used to be happy with one release in a yea and now, they have changed that strategy and increased their speed. Even Pawan Kalyan who from the starting of his career used to star only in one film per year, also changed that to two this year, as he is fast finishing his movie with Trivikram Srinivas.
Mahesh Babu, who is known to wait for two to three years and start a movie if he doesn't like the script, also decided to start his next movie, while his previous movie still in production. He started shooting for Bharat Ane Nenu, and Spyder is still in production. Ram Charan is still undecided on his next after Rangasthalam 1985, but he is looking for a good script to follow it up. Jr. NTR, Prabhas are ready to work with young debutants too if they like the script. With such change in heroes attitude, even our directors are looking for scripts rather than hero dates.
Even the directors like SS Rajamouli and VV Vinayak who delivered big hits of Telugu Cinema are also waiting for the right script to approach the heroes and producers are waiting for them. Rajamouli, after Baahubali is uncommitted about any project and even though there are rumours about him working with Jr. NTR, Akhil and Nani for his next, the director wants to take enough rest before he can start his next and also is looking for a script that re-ignites his passion after a Magnum Opus like Baahubali.
VV Vinayak, who has been the biggest commercial director in Telugu Cinema since his debut, delivered a 100 crores grosser with Megastar Chiranjeevi and still the director is looking for the right script to direct, Sai Dharam Tej. Krish, who gave a big hit to Balakrishna with Gautamiputrs Satakarni was in discussions with Venkatesh over a subject that did not take off due to some copyrights issues. As, Mahesh is busy with his commitments he postponed his Shivam to a later date and got busy with Manikarnika, starring Kangana Ranaut. Guna Sekhar who received a hit with, Rudrama Devi is yet undecided on his next.
Also, Chandrasekhar Yeleti, who did Manamantha, Nandhini Reddy, who did Kalyana Vaibhogame, Nenu Local fame, Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Ghazi fame Sankalp Reddy are yet to announce their next while the directors like Shekhar Kammula, Bobby, BVS Ravi, whose previous movies are flops are busy with their new movies that are due for release in next few months. Srinu Vaitla, who lost his touch is trying to find a new inspiring story to prove his talent again.
Directors like Srikanth Addala, YVS Chowdary, Gopichand Malineni, 'Bommarillu' Bhaskar, Santhosh Srinivas, Dasaradh, Veeru Potla are also looking for that one script that can be confident about to go find a producer and an actor to make the successful movie. Well, for all these directors, story is the major hurdle to start a project and they are trying their best to find one good script rather than heroes and their dates. That's a refreshing change for our Telugu Cinema.
