Tollywood's Fate Depending On This Young Hero' Film!

The theatres have reopened recently and the audience are still not completely enthusiastic to enter the theatres. Last week, interesting films like 'Ishq â Not A Love Story' and 'Thimmarusu' came out in the theatres but those films did not get enough collections despite the decent critical response. Things did not take off on a high note for Tollywood after the second lockdown as expected.
The situation is different after the first lockdown as Sai Tej's 'Solo Brathuke So Better' did good business and it was followed by a bright Sankranti season which is filled with hit films like Ravi Teja's 'Krack', Ram's 'RED' and Vijay's 'Master'. With big films hitting the screens, the audience too walked into the theatres which led to a very good first three months in 2021 for the Telugu film industry. But things after the second wave are looking different as no big films are eager to enter the theatres.
Release dates have been locked for Christmas and Sankranti seasons but not in August and September months which is quite strange. None of the noted movies from medium-range heroes or star heroes have announced their release dates till date. This week, a lot of interesting films are hitting the screens like 'Mugguru Mongallu', 'Ippudu Kaka Inkeppudu', 'Merise Merise' and others. Of all them, Kiran Abbavarm's entertainer 'SR Kalyanamandapam' has got a lot of craze due to its good trailer and super hit songs. There are decent expectations on this movie. Priyanka Jawalkar is the heroine in this flick while Sai Kumar will be seen as the hero's father. The trailer promised an interesting and entertaining content this weekend. Kiran Abbavaram himself provided the story and screenplay. Chaitan Bharadwaj has scored the music while Sridhar Gade is the film's director.
The entire Tollywood is waiting to see how it performs at the box office. If this film becomes successful, we may witness noted films like 'Tuck Jagadish', 'Love Story' and other movies hitting the screens in the next couple of weeks.
