Tollywood Crisis: What is Stopping the Big Producers?
X
The Tollywood film industry which is enjoying the global success of recent sensation RRR suffered a big shock after the Active Telugu Film Producers Guild (ATFPG) gave a call to halt all shootings from the 1st of August. A press release was also issued stating the same by the body earlier this week.

Not just that, the body also framed three individual bodies and the members of the bodies will look into the issues that were allotted to them. As if this is not enough, the Producers Council and other bodies said that they are not concerned about the halt call given by the ATFPG.

The producers' bodies that fall under the same industry having contrasting views on the issue is a big concern and there is a need for the industry to come together so that the long pending issues which are causing issues to the film industry will be addressed at the earliest.

More than the ongoing developments, the big producers keeping their silence is worrisome. Just Dil Raju spoke about it and said that he will see what he can do in sorting out the issues.

Though Allu Aravind is not bankrolling projects regularly under his Geetha Arts, he is one of the top producers without any doubt. No introduction is required for Suresh Babu. Besides being a big producer, Suresh Babu is also the owner of Ramanaidu studious, one of the first studios to come to Hyderabad when the film industry moved out of Madras.

The Mythri Movie Makers banner had worked with big stars and Pushpa, bankrolled by it made big noise at the box office as it was a Pan-India film, Its sequel will hit the floors soon.

Sunil Narang is also missing the action. Like how Suresh Babu can understand the issues faced by the producer and theatre distributor, he can also see things from both angles. The reason is that he is into the theatre business and he joined hands with Superstar Mahesh Babu. The duo came together to start the AMB Cinemas, which is doing pretty well. No one knows what is stopping the big producers from coming out and trying their best in sorting out issues.
