The Disasters Of Telugu Cinema, 2018!

If you take a list of total releases of films and try to see how many have become successful and how many ended up as flops, you always get an answer that there are many flops than hits.
From flops we have to differentiate disasters. Disasters are those that have good business stakes attached to them and then lose big amounts. Let's take a look at such films in 2018, month wise ..
January month saw Agnyathavasi release during Sankranti season and create first day record. But the movie failed big time to impress audiences and even became a hall of shame monument for hero Pawan Kalyan and director, Trivikram. Both of them did pay back some amount to producer as he had to pay off many distributors for recovering their loss. Movie created a record in pre-release business and post release loss as well.
In February, Touch Chesi Choodu and Inttelligent became big disasters. Ravi Teja after decent comeback with Raja The Great delivered a first day disaster with Touch Chesi Choodu. Inttelligent almost ended VV Vinayak and Sai Dharam Tej careers. Vinayak has Balakrishna film in talks and SDT is looking to make a come back with Chitralahari after another flop, Tej I Love You.
April saw Chal Mohan Ranga, KrishnaArjuna Yuddham failing at the box office. Chal Mohan Ranga added to Nithiin's misery after LIE. KrishnaArjuna Yuddham ended golden run of Nani. Both lost huge amounts after a good start in first weekend. Another movie we have to mention is Vishnu Manchu's Achari America Yatra. Not many even know that a movie with such name released too.
May saw normally dependable Allu Arjun delivering a disaster with Naa Peru Surya. Movie lost more than 20 crores at the box office after a good pre-release business as per the reports. Ravi Teja even in Summer season delivered a disaster with Nela Ticket. Not many remember the film too. Kalyan Krishna lost all the name he made Soggade Chinni Nayana and Rarandoyi Veduka Chuddam.
June had Nagarjuna delivering biggest disaster of his career with the maker who gave his career defining hit, RGV. Officer became a humiliating disaster for the senior actor. In the same month, Kalyaram delivered Naa Nuvve. Many don't remember this movie too.
July had Sai Dharam Tej returning to deliver another disaster with Tej I Love You and Bellamkonda Srinivas too tasted biggest disaster with Saakshyam. Previously he had only flops.
August saw Dil Raju's major film, Srinivasa Kalyanam becoming a huge disaster pushing Nithiin into deep introspection. The month ended on a huge low with Naga Shourya delivering a first first show disaster with @Nartanasala. Many don't remember later film but Srinivasa Kalyanam has the distinction of being most trolled film.
October saw Vijay Devarakonda after a big hit like Geetha Govindam delivering a major disaster like NOTA.
November saw Naga Chaitanya again failing with action genre in Savyasachi. Movie coming from Premam combination and director Chandoo Mondeti had good expectations but failed miserably. Ravi Teja hit a hattrick with Amar Akbar Anthony. Ileana D'Cruz returned to Telugu Cinema with this disaster and Srinu Vaitla might have probably ended his direction career!
December already saw Kavacham becoming a disaster. Bellamkonda Srinivas and Kajal pairing did generate buzz but the movie ended up a disaster.
We hope two relatively big releases Anthariksham and Padi Padi Leche Manasu end the year, 2018 for Telugu Cinema on a high than a low!
