We Shouldn't Go Overboard On Dubbing Films
By: Tupaki Desk | 9 Dec 2017 6:09 PM GMTThe postponement of '2.0' to April has lead to a huge discussion among the top Telugu producers. As 'Bharath Ane Nenu'.. 'Naa Peru Surya' movies were planned April 27, the makers were worried about the '2.0' release. Producers Bunny Vas.. DVV Danayya expressed their anger over the change of release dates. They said that they will take the issue to the Producers Council.
On the other hand, there were reports in the media that Producers Council is going to planning to pass resolutions against the dubbing films. They are said to be planning to stop the dubbing films during festival seasons when Telugu biggies are set for release. Even though the dubbing films are released they are planning to restrict the number of theaters to 100.
Surprisingly, producer Allu Aravind is maintaining a good friendship with KE Gnanavel Raja and they are jointly producing films in Telugu and Tamil. He is co-operating Suriya films in Telugu. In such a situation, some netizens are questioning how can they he target the other Tamil producers?
Our Telugu heroes are eyeing on Tamil market nowadays. They are planning to release their films in Tamil and they are getting ready for the bilinguals as well. One way they are eyeing on Tamil market, the other way they are opposing the dubbing films into Telugu.. how far this is correct? Moreover '2.0' can't be treated as any other dubbing film. Everybody knows that the delay in the visual effects is the main reason for the postponement of the release. Mahesh Babu 'Spyder', 'Baahubali' releases also got delayed due to visual effects. Then how can our makers target '2.0' for postponements?
On the whole, when our filmmakers are passing resolutions and stipulating the rules against dubbing films.. they should keep the fact in their minds that our star hero films also go to Tamil.
