Dubbing movies have lost their sheen!
X
Our Telugu market is no alien to other languages and they look to explore as much as possible with their movies and several heroes also boast about a parallel market in Telugu states as well. Starting with Rajnikanth, Kamal Hasan, Mohan Lal, Vishal, Vikram, Suriya, Karthi and even Vijay Anthony has a market in Telugu. There is no wrong in a good movie making good money in any market but several times highly bad movies of these actors to come out in the season and end up denting in the business further. There was a time when Telugu actors thought twice before releasing their movies on these Dubbing movies.

But today, the scene is changing and in fact many producers who thought these movies are best possible way to make profits on small scale investments, are now feeling it could be huge risk. This year, Singam 3, Yaman, Cheliyaa released as the most popular Dubbing movies but they all ended up raking up losses to the makers. While, Cheliyaa could not even recover a crore of investment over 8 crores, Singam 3 lost close to 7 crores as well over an investment of 20 crores. Yaman starring, Vijay Anthony also ended up being a loss venture.

Dil Raju who took to distributing Dubbing movies like anything over the last two years, he lost big in Remo and Policodu. Last year except for Manyam Puli starring Mohan Lal none of the big hero movies become a hit. Bicchagadu became a blockbuster and made Vijay Anthony a star but his next two movies turned out to be flops. Karthi came with Kashmora last year and this year, even Cheliyaa has ended up disappointing producers. Even Rajnikanth and Kamal Hasan movies have ended up raking in losses. Hollywood movies used to be money spinners but with multiplex boom, Dubbing those movies has become another unnecessary risk for producers. With big heroes and big movies from other industries failing to register good enough revenues, we can clear say that, Dubbing movies have lost their sheen!
