Will Tollywood See A Dull Sankranti Race?

With 'Solo Brathuke So Better' giving some hope for the filmmakers, Tollywood is getting ready to release six films during the Sankranti season. On January 8th, MS Raju's directorial 'Dirty Hari' is hitting the screens and 'Color Photo' is arriving on the 12th. Apart from these two, Vijay's 'Master' is releasing on 13th January and Ram's 'RED' is arriving on 14th January. Ravi Teja's 'Krack' is also coming at the same time. Bellamkonda Srinivas' 'Alludu Adhurs' is also expected to hit the marquee on 15th January.
With these many films, one would expect a carnival at the theatres but it is not the case. Two of those films have already been released in OTT platforms and Vijay's 'Master' is coming with no promotions whatsoever. A dubbing film needs a lot of publicity but the makers are not interested in it.
On the other hand, Bellamkonda Srinivas' 'Alludu Adhurs' is silent till now as not even a song or a teaser got released till date. Ravi Teja's 'Krack' is coming with decent expectations but experts are claiming that it may not get good openings as Ravi Teja is going through a rough period in his career. Only Ram scored a blockbuster last year and his 'RED' is carrying good expectations. We need to wait and see if things get any better by the time of their release or not.
