A Year Of 25 Biopics - 2019!

As many as 25 biopics are going to release in the year 2019. From 9th January, the year of biopics will start showing its affects at box office.
Legendary actor NTR's life will have two biopics, NTR Kathanayakudu, NTR Mahanayakudu. And Lakshmi Parvathi's version of NTR, Lakshmi's NTR might come out too in the direction of RGV.
YSR biopic Yatra will come out in February and on 25th January, Manikarnika, Thackeray, two biopics about a lady who united Nation against British and a man who rose to become a political power centre through communal politics, respectively, will release.
Further in the year, we could see Pullela Gopichand biopic with Sudheer Babu as lead in the direction of Praveen Sattaru. Saina Nehwal's biopic is coming out this year with Shraddha Kapoor as lead.
Tapsee Pannu wanted to play Mithali Raj, but highest run scorer in Women Cricket wanted Priyanka Chopra to play her role. A biopic on Rugby player, Rudraksha Jena is in the making. It is titled, Jungle Cry.
P.V. Sindhu's biopic will start production as Deepika Padukone starts shooting. Dhayanchand biopic will finally role on Dharma Productions banner.
Shah Rukh Khan will come up with a biopic, Saare Jahan Se Accha. This movie could release in December.
Akshay Kumar's Kesari about Battle of Saragarhi will release this year, Ajay Devgn's Tanaji about Marathi troops Commander Tanaji will also release this year.

Not just them, Ranveer Singh's 83 about Kapil Devil's win in World Cup and Mogul about Gulshan Kumar, T-Series founder will also release this year. There are few more in the planning stage like Abhinav Bhindra's biopic. Gunjan Saxena's biopic with Jhanvi Kapoor in the lead will also release this year. She is an IAF pilot that participated in Kargil War.
Dangal's success seems to have given many filmmakers a chance to tell the stories of many famous individuals. But how many will be successful, we have to wait and see.
