Top Director asked to pay Rs 1 crore to Heroine

All is not well between Actress Sona and Director Venkat Prabhu, who were known to be good friends once, since the past few years.
Sona approached Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) and Nadigar Sangam accusing Venkat Prabhu of not returning the advance amount she paid to him for directing a project in 2009. Even though the project never went on floor, The filmmaker refused to pay back the advance which is about Rs 1.5 crore.
During a meeting held between Sona and Venkat Prabhu in the presence of TFPC President Kalaipuli S Thanu and Nadigar Sangam President Sarath Kumar, It was decided that the director has to pay Rs 1 crore to the actress. As Venkat Prabhu agreed to compensate the loss incurred by Sona, The entire issue has been sorted out in an amicable way.
Venkat Prabh's next release 'Mass' starring Suriya, Nayantara and Pranitha is gearing up for release on May 15th.
