Top director celebrated Rajapaksas defeat

Sri Lanka's long-time leader Mahinda Rajapaksa has been defeated in the presidential election and one of the top directors from south celebrated the news.Versatile filmmaker AR Murugadoss seems to be elated with the defeat Mahinda Rajaapksa. Expressing his happiness over Mahinda defeat AR Murugadoss tweeted, "Nice start to the New year !!! It's time to celebrate Rajapaksa's defeat !!" (Sic)
Director AR Murugadoss who had directed Vijay starrer 'Kaththi' which faced a lot of issues during it's release. Many people created problems for film release saying that the film produced by Lyca Productions and it was funded by Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The makers had removed Lyca from the film to ensure smooth release across Tamilnadu.Murugadoss has always used some fiery dialogues in his movies against Sri Lankan Government.
With his tweet Murugadoss wants to prove that that he is Tamilian at heart and will remain so forever.Rajapaksa, who dominated politics for a decade lost to Sirisena, his former cabinet colleague.
