Grapevine in the Tamil Film Industry is that Nayantara is madly in love with Director Vignesh Shivan who is directed her movie 'Naanum Rowdy Thaan' and tied the knot with him secretly. It is said that the marriage took place at a church in Kochi in a hush-hush manner and only close relatives attended.
When quizzed about the reports in circulations, Nayantara brushed them aside saying they were just baseless rumours and advised the media which is working overtime on the issue to just chill. She says marriage is a big thing for any girl to hide and assures an official announcement will be made for sure when it happens.
Earlier, Nayantara used to keep mum whenever such rumours began doing rounds. In the recent past, She is speaking out and condemning them without any delay for some reason. After her comeback, Nayan is so busy with her new assignments and don't even have a 3-day break to leave for Kerala where her family got settled. So, Don't expect her to tie the knot any time soon.
