Top Notch DOP Defends 'Thank You' & Blames OTT Mindset!

PC Sreeram is one of the legendary cinematographers in this country. He made a lot of evergreen movies with top directors like Mani Ratnam, Shankar and others. He gave the film industry some iconic frames which will remain in history forever. He is still one of the best and works with veterans as well as youngsters.
He worked on movies like 'Ishq', 'Remo', 'Naa Nuvve', 'Rang De' and others in recent times. His latest outing 'Thank You' is in theatres now and it got a mixed response from the very first show. The audience are not showing any interest in stepping into the theatres these days which is forcing the producers to make them sell it to OTT platforms for high rates so that the digital platforms can stream it as early as possible.
Recently, PC Sreeram took to Twitter and defended 'Thank You' movie. he wrote, "It's not about hit or failure. OTT mindset has crept in and word Thank You will continue to its journey on ott. Criticism is respected & accepted, OTT has to pay 3 time more as it open to world . huge . Thankyou but no thankyou is still a Thankyou. #ThankYouTheMovie." It is a bit confusing but he shared his views on this film Naga Chaitanya in the lead.
Raashi Khanna, Malavika Nair and Avika Gor are the heroines in this film while Sai Sushanth Reddy plays a vital role. The story of 'Thank You' has been given by BVS Ravi while Thaman composed the music. PC Sreeram is the director of photography while Naga Chaitanya was seen in different looks throughout the course of this film. Vikram K Kumar is its director.
