Top Producer's assets worth Rs 96.75 crore seized!

Producer Aascar Ravichandran is known for high-budget extravaganzas and someone who is very good at promoting star-studded flicks. Films like Aparichitudu, Ramanna, Dasavatharam and I were made under this prestigious banner. When the assets of producer with such a stature gets attached for non repayment of loan, Its certainly gonna make a sensational news.
Aascar Ravichandran obtained loan from Indian Overseas Bank located in Sriram Nagar branch, Chennai. He, however, failed to pay the debt inspite of giving many opportunities.
Indian Overseas Bank filed a petition in The Debt Recovery Tribunal. Now, The Bank has attached Aascar Ravichandran's properties which include his office, house and the Vellore Aascar theater. Officials say debt of Rs 96.75 crore will be recovered from the properties attached.
Post 'I', Aascar Ravichandran has two releases in the pipeline. Vishwaroopam 2 and Boologam will hit the screens within 3 months.
