Raviteja signed 'Raja - The Great' and 'Touch Chesi Chudu' in quick succession after taking a gap of two years. The Blind Act fetched him much needed success. Now, It's his turn to get into the shoes of cop who is a live wire. Let's see if this movie continues the success streak or not...

Synopsis:

Karthikeya (Raviteja) leads the life of a businessman in Pondicherry. He loves his family so much and won't mind going to any extent for them. Just when he was about to marry Pushpa (Raashi Khanna), Karthikeya's Sister becomes a prime witness in a murder case. The Accused in this case have a connection with Karthikeya's untold past. That's when Karthikeya's Cop act and his first lover will be introduced. Why did he quit the job? What happened to his lover? Do watch 'Touch Chesi Chudu' to know about it!

Performances:

'Touch Chesi Chudu' is no way gonna help Raviteja's career. Don't expect any freshness in his performance & even his look appears a bit odd. Massraja did a decent job until the Flashback episode.

Raashi Khanna scores brownie points with her glamour. However, The role dhe played wasn't etched out properly. Seerat Kapoor doesn't impress either with performance or glamour. Murali Sharma and Jayaprakash are alright. None of the villains leave an impact.

Pros:

Raashi Khanna Glamour

Mass Elements

Cons:

Story

Narration

Direction

Technicalities:

Technically, 'Touch Chesi Chudu' isn't good enough. Songs composed by Pritam's music band JAM 8 are very ordinary. 'Pushpa' song is nice though. Even Manisharma's BGM isn't upto the mark. Cinematography of Chota K Naidu fails to impress. Production Values are below par, particularly during the Pondicherry episode. Surprising that there is nothing much to say about the story provided Vakkantham Vamsi who is a proven writer. It's the worst script he delivered till date to say the least. Debutante Director Vikram Sirikonda disappoints overall though he handled few mass sequences well.

Analysis:

When Telugu Audience have been welcoming path-breaking films, A sub-standard product like 'Touch Chesi Chudu' which neither have a good story nor gripping screenplay has been served. The kind of freshness audience expect from a debutante filmmaker can't be seen in the movie. Whom did Makers target with such an outdated subject is a big mystery!

Raviteja was last seen as cop in 'Power' which is a formulaic flick with few attractive elements. It has done a decent business at the Box Office. Whereas, Movie Lovers aren't ready to accept such run-of-a-mill tales right now. 'Touch Chesi Chudu' can't be expected to do well as it's been made in the same format. Hero leads a peaceful life with his family in a neighboring state. What follows is a romantic track. After remaining calm in few tricky situations, The original character in protagonist comes out at one point to settle scores with the baddies. This is when a powerful flashback is being shown. Audience will get to know why Hero kept hiding his identity here and he shifts to the original character in the Climax. That's how this Cop Drama starts and ends!

Unfortunately, There are no hilarious scenes to make the Audience ignore other flaws in the movie. The routine comedy track in the first half tests the patience to the fullest. Pre-Interval Block where the identity of Hero is revealed doesn't give an emotional high. Most of the Second Half is occupied by the flashback episode. Routine Hero Elevation Scenes aren't exciting to watch at all. Neverthless, Fans of Raviteja might be pleased to some extent with the mass elements. Logic goes missing in the sequence which ends Flashback. As too much time was taken for narrating Flashback, Director moves to the Climax immediately. Overall, 'Touch Chesi Chudu' have nothing much to offer for the movie lovers.

Bottom Line: Very Boring!
