Trade Circles Not Happy With 'Master' Digital Streaming!

Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi's 'Master', which was released on January 13, received a thumping response during Pongal in theatres. The film has entered the profit zone and has kept cash registers ringing at the box office. Being the first big release of the South film industry, the action drama is still running successfully on the big screens.
As per reports, the Telugu theatrical rights of Master are priced at Rs 9 crores and it will get over Rs 15 crores in its final run. At a time when the distributors are having the profits after a long time, the digital streaming giant Amazon Prime Video has announced the digital release on January 29. The OTT giant acquired the digital streaming rights of Master and planned to release it on February 12th.
In a sudden surprise, Amazon announced that the film will be available on the digital platform from January 29. Needless to say, the decision of Amazon has given a shock for the distributors as the film will have a good theatrical run for some more days. Meanwhile, the movie is extremely fulfilling to have the film's global digital release on Amazon.
Master also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das.
