Trailer Talk: Another Magnum Opus In The Offering
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Nov 2019 9:33 AM GMTRenowned director Ashutosh Gowariker known for classics like 'Lagaan', 'Swades' and 'Jodhaa Akbar' is back again with another historic war drama. After delivering a failure like 'Mohenjodaro', he teamed up with Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon for 'Panipat'. The trailer of this film was unveiled a while ago and it looks nothing but epic.
Set in 1761, the film is about the third battle of Panipat and the events that led to this war. Arjun Kapoor is will be seen as Maratha warrior Sadashiv Rao Bhau and Kriti Sanon will be seen as his wife. Sanjay Dutt is the villain in this film and he plays the role of Ahmad Shah Abdali, the king of Afganisthan who comes to conquer our country.
The trailer is a mixture of grandeur, chest pumping action, bloodshed and a whole lot of drama. The team was successful in recreating the Maratha kingdoms and looks of the cast though Arjun Kapoor resembled Ranveer from 'Bajirao Mastani' and Sanju resembled Ranveer again from 'Padmaavat'.
The trailer looks absolutely stunning and if the film matches our expectations on December 6th, then it will surely be another feather in Gowarikar's cap.
