Agnyaathavaasi: They Have Compensated Rs.25 Cr

'Agnyaathavaasi' released in the Sankranthi season this year and the film turned out to be the biggest disasters in the history of Tollywood. Only 60% of the Rs. 90 crore investment of the buyers recovered. Many people thought that the buyers will not recover from this blow anytime soon. But there were reports in the media that producer Radha Krishna came forward to compensate the losses of the buyers and he has settled a portion of their losses. The reports went on to say that Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram didn't give any money towards compensation.
Responding to these reports, Trivikram gave his clarification He revealed in a recent interview that he and Pawan Kalyan joined hands with the producer to compensate the losses of the buyers. Usually, Trivikram never talks about his financial affairs but he tried to give clarification for 'Agnyaathavaasi' issue. He might have opened up because he wanted to put an end to the rumours that were doing rounds on them.
He said that "We understood that buyers suffered losses from 'Agnyaathavaasi. They bought the film for Rs.90 crores.. and 60 crores recovered. We had to adjust Rs.30 crores. Kalyan garu.. producer and I adjusted them Rs.25 cr. We have returned their money before the first week of film's release. I'm not revealing about this not because we wanted to boast about ourselves but this is how Kalyan thinks.. he always says 'why should others suffer because of us?"
