Why Did Trivikram Never Work As An Assistant?

Trivikram Srinivas is a little shy to talk to media on a regular basis. He rarely gives interviews and doesn't really open up much too. He is more interested in talking about his films at the time of release and then never he meets media again.
Recently in an interview, he talked about his early career and choices in the Industry. He said, "I always wanted to become a director. From 9th class, 10th class, I took the decision.
But my father wanted me to do PG. So, rather than getting a name that he came to Industry because he couldn't study, I decided to pursue MSc.
After completing it, I came to Hyderabad trying to become a film director. But I never wanted to assist anybody as I thought it will be a time wasting process.
When I started Krishna Vamsi and EVV Satyanarayana were huge and many used to assist them. I will be an addition to them and that seemed a long time taking process. So, I became a writer and thought that it will help me observe even closely the shooting process and learn," answered the writer known as Guruji.
