Did Trivikram trim A..Aa by 18 Minutes?

Grapevine in the Industry is that Trivikram Srinivas has chopped off about 18 minutes from 'A.Aa' in the last minute. He seems to have done it to maintain good pace and avoid any lag. However, none from the production house has either confirmed or denied the report so far.
These days, Audience have been complaining about the excessive length and unwanted scenes in big-budgeted entertainers. Even 'Brahmotsavam' was trimmed by 16 minutes after the disastrous talk on Day 1.
That's why, Trivikram made sure there is no room for complaining once the film is out in the Theatres. He trimmed few scenes in the Second Half and some of sequences involving Samantha as he found them repetitive. Post this re-edit, Makers were pretty confident about the Box Office outcome. They even have plans to include these trimmed scenes in 2nd or 3rd Week if necessary.
