Why Even Samajavaragamana Is Being Trolled?

Not to call any song or any tune or any person is un-trollable - (a word invented for the purpose of this article. If it catches, pls give us some copyrights!) - but we have to think before trolling anything or anyone.

Songs and compositions do have similarities to other works. No, song can be entirely original and at the same time, copying is an entirely different aspect.

Using same tune, same interludes, same instrumentation blatantly comes under copying. Using a part of a tune or using a raga that the other composer used cannot be entirely described as copy.

If we start doing that we end up saying each song is a copy of another song even if it isn't true. SS Thaman seems to have a reputation for copying and yes, he did before.

But Samajavaragamana is not a blatant copy and the trolls on the song seem ridiculous. Some people seem to have to taken it as their job to troll whatever Thaman does and it is highly evident.

In this song's case, we cannot accept that. It is finding greater appreciation and it is even trending on Youtube. Popularity doesn't guarantee originality but in this song's case popularity does seem to have inspired hate filled mocking.

On the other hand, song is finding variety of audiences and he was appreciated by a well-known Hollywood actor on social media. Hollywood actor-director Bill Duke praised the song on Twitter saying;

"kudos to #Samajavaragamana Full Song From The Telugu Movie
Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Great song..."
