Harish Shankar is yet to direct any project post Allu Arjun-starrer 'Duvvada Jagannadham'. Finally, The next project is likely to go on floors after a long gap of one-and-a-half years. It's not going to be a typical multi-starrer. While one hero does the Male Lead character, The other one appears as a villain.
If the buzz is true, Harish Shankar's upcoming flick will be the Telugu remake of Tamil Blockbuster 'Jigarthanda' directed by Karthik Subbaraj. While Siddharth played Protagonist in the original, Bobby Simha has done the role of Antagonist. Varun Tej is likely to play the villain in the Telugu Remake.
Two Young Heroes (Naga Shaurya, Raj Tarun) are in race to reprise the role of Siddharth. One of them will be shortlisted in the next few days. Rashmika Mandanna is going to be the female lead. 14 Reels will bankroll this rustic action drama.
