Two Big Releases Clash On Amazon Prime Video!

The OTT platform provides a space for all kinds of films. Good content will be encouraged irrespective of the language in streaming sites thanks to the subtitles and dubbing. We have seen many big films hitting the big screens on the same day or on the same weekend. But, Amazon Prime Video turned into a warzone for two big films to compete with each other.
The first film to release is 'Mahaan' starring Chiyaan Vikram and his son Dhruv Vikram. Directed by creative filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, this movie is getting streamed from 10th February. This gangster action drama will be made available in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. 7 Screen Studios have produced this flick while Santosh Narayanan who is a regular of Karthick Subbaraj's films had composed the music for this one too. Senior actress Simran and talented actor Bobby Simha are playing key roles in this flick. There are high expectations on this film and let us see how the film turns out.
On the other hand, we have the Bollywood film 'Gehraiyaan' starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Pandey and Dhairya in lead roles. This is an emotional drama that deals with relationships, cheating and a lot of layers. Shakun Batra is the director and Karan Johar is one of the producers. The trailer and songs raised a lot of hype as both Deepika and Ananya were seen sporting bikini looks often and did some bold intimate scenes too. This movie is getting premiered on 11th February.
While 'Mahaan' appeals to action drama lovers, 'Gehraiyaan' is a film for an urban audience. With both crazy projects releasing in a gap of one day, it is to be seen which one of them becomes more fruitful for Amazon Prime Video.
