Strategy followed by Makers of '2.O' to release the film in Two Versions failed to yield best results. While People who watched the film in 3D were mesmerized with the Visual Effects, Those who had seen the sci-fi thriller in 2D had nothing much to cheer. This is why Theatres equipped with 3D are running with packed houses and 2D Screens are struggling to draw the crowds.

SS Rajamouli preferred not to make 'Baahubali' franchise in 3D because there isn't huge market for this format in India. Around 80 percent Theatres in B & C Centres aren't equipped with 3D. Being aware of this fact, Shankar planned '2.O' in both 2D & 3D Versions. Vast difference in the reactions of people who watched the sci-fi flick in 2D and 3D is now playing the spoilsport.

In addition, Wrong Release Strategy & Poor Promotions costed the stake holders dearly. Openings could have been double had if Makers preferred holiday or festival release and promoted the movie aggressively few days before the release.

Of course, '2.O' is dominating the Telugu Box Office as of now. 'Taxiwala' has become a blockbuster and it's BO run has come to an end. Both '24 Kisses' and 'Rangu' had bitten the dust. '2.O' has to do well for at least till the end of 3rd Weekend for bailing out the Distributors and Buyers from trouble.
