Unbelievable price for Guru Satellite Rights

Venkatesh-starrer 'Guru', a remake of Bollywood flick 'Saala Khadoos', generated a positive buzz since the stylish posters were unveiled. Even the promos of this Wrestling backdrop flick were promising. Hence, there are good expectations on this sports based movie.
As per reliable sources, Satellite Rights of 'Guru' fetched a whooping price. Gemini TV struck a deal with Producer to acquire the Satellite Rights for a price of Rs 6.50 crore. This is a huge amount for a sports-based flick.
In 'Guru', Venkatesh will be seen as a Wrestling Coach. Ritika Singh who played the lead role in the original does the same character in the remake as well. She will be seen as a die-hard fan of Pawan Kalyan in the Telugu version. Sudha Kongara wielded the megaphone.
'Guru' was supposed to release on Jan 26th but it was postponed as all the three major Sankranti releases performed well. The release has been pushed to Summer for a solo release.
