Pooja Hegde is undoubtedly one of the top female stars in Tollywood. Her successful track record put her in this position and a lot of filmmakers are waiting for her call sheets. She delivered hits with top stars like NTR, Bunny, Mahesh Babu and others. Pooja is one of the busiest actresses at the moment but the successive flops is making her fans worried.

Post 'Most Eligible Bachelor' which was successful, the dusky siren is going through a rough patch. She acted in Young Rebel Star Prabhas' pan-Indian romantic drama 'Radhe Shyam' which ended up as a disaster. Though Pooja did her part well and looked great onscreen, the weak writing and presentation made the film a dud at the box office.

Recently, she gave a re-entry in the Tamil film industry with Vijay's 'Beast' which was made by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film was an outright disaster in the Telugu market and got a negative talk in Tamil Nadu too though the collections were decent.

This Kannada girl played the role of Neelambari in Megastar's 'Acharya' which was released this Friday. She was Charan's love interest in this film and it was a very small role. With Kajal's role getting chopped off, Pooja took the front seat in terms of glamour and promotions too. But she had nothing to do in the film and her portions were designed in a very boring manner. She looked good onscreen but the film got a negative talk from the premier shows itself. Many are claiming that it is going to be a huge flop. If it turns out to be true, Pooja will be scoring a hattrick of flops in recent times.

People have already started calling her 'Iron Leg' by forgetting that her past films were big hits. At the beginning of her career, Pooja delivered flops in all three languages with her debut flicks. She did 'Mukunda' in Telugu, 'Mask' in Tamil and 'Mohenjodaro' in Hindi and all of them were big failures.

Pooja immediately revealed her glamorous side through 'Duvvada Jagannadham' and turned into a star heroine in no time with hits like 'Maharshi', 'Aravinda Sametha' and 'Ala Vaikunthapuramlo'. Now, some are referring her as iron leg while a few others are coming to her support saying that a heroine who gets an insignificant role in star hero films shouldn't be blamed for the outcome. Currently, she is doing a special song in 'F3' and Pooja is also the heroine in Trivikram's upcoming project with superstar Mahesh. She will be seen as the female lead in Harish Shankar's 'Bhavadeeyudu Bhagath Singh' which is yet to go on floors. Let us wait and see what happens.
