'HIT 2' Collections Dip On Monday As Expected!

Successful hero Adivi Sesh and intelligent director Sailesh Kolanu's 'HIT 2' which released on 2nd December got a very good response from the audience. Right from the first day, the collections were good and the reviewers were quite positive as well. The gripping narration and good performance from the lead cast are its biggest advantages.
The movie collected a share of 3.8 crores on its first day and minted 3.15 crores on its second day. On Sunday, the collections were 2.85 crores. With the collections being quite good, many expected the movie to touch the breakeven mark by the end of Monday. But the collections on the first working day dipped drastically as the thriller film managed to earn a share of just 90 lakhs.
The movie witnessed a drop of 70% compared to what it got on Sunday. As we know, the movie is a serious investigative thriller with zero commercial elements. There are no hero elevation moments or songs to please the masses. It stayed true to its genre and did not deviate at any point. Also, the bloodshed and disturbing violence showcased in the movie may force the family audience to stay away from theatres.
The movie did a business of 12 crores and it earned a total of 10.7 crores in its first 4 days of run at the box office. With time left till 9th December, we need to wait and see if 'HIT 2' crosses the line and make good profits or not.
