UTV is the biggest loser in Srimanthudu

As "Srimanthudu" went on to become biggest grosser in the USA just three days after its release, it's time to discuss why some initial producers have backed off from the project. Itâs none other than UTV Motion Pictures that was supposed to produce this film.
Right now Eros Entertainment, the arch rival of UTV, has obtained the theatrical rights of Srimanthudu for 80 crores. But fact is that UTV was supposed to produce this film and they have cancelled it in the last minute. Even Vidya Balan's husband Siddharth Roy Kapur, the CEO of UTV has flown to Hyderabad to meet Mahesh and Koratala too. Later they have backed out and Mythri Movies took centre stage, while Mahesh too production from them.
Going by the collections of the film, we have to say that UTV is the biggest loser because they would have easily got crores of profits if they produced the film.
