In Tollywood, Even Big Banners like Sri Venkateswara Creations & Mythri Movie Makers tasted failures. Dil Raju had a terrific success rate last year. He, however, tasted mostly failures in 2018. On the other hand, Mythri Movie Makers delivered two flops after three blockbusters.
UV Creations is the only banner to maintain almost 100 percent success rate. All the films produced and distributed by them so far have been successful. Their participation in the distribution of '2.O' might prove lucky for the fellow Distributors (NV Prasad, Dil Raju) & Makers.
UV Creations Vamshi, NV Prasad and Dil Raju have jointly acquired the distribution rights of '2.O' in Telugu States for around Rs 80 crore (Andhra - Rs 40 crore, Nizam - Rs 25 crore, Ceeded - Rs 15 crore). This is a huge gamble but that's the craze for Rajinikanth-Shankar Combo. Recovery won't be difficult at all because of the massive release if the sci-fi flick hits the bull's eye.
