'Gang' War Becomes Serious
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 Jan 2018 5:07 AM GMTUV Creations and Studio Green production house are in agreement to release the movies Gang and Bhagmathie. UV will release Gang in Telugu while Studio Green will release Bhagmathie in Tamil. When this announcement has come up, there were rumours that the production houses will only release the movies but will show no seriousness in planning the promotions. Putting an end to all such speculations, the UV creations banner is now anticipating the release of Gang seriously.
Though the movie is releasing along with two other biggies Agnyathavaasi and Jai Simha, there is no buzz about Gang release. A lot of people were unaware of the film's release for Sankranthi now. To grab the attention of the audiences, UV team has started a publicity campaign. Already, the promotions are going on in full swing on the digital media. Along with that, Suriya recently participated in the pre-release event and spent some quality time with his fans. He even danced on the stage to entertain the audiences. Later, he stayed back in the city and interacted with the print and digital media journalists about the film.
Slowly, the film is getting attention and UV producers is planning to release the movie in as many theatres as possible. As Bhagmathie is up for a release in the third week, the producers wanted to replace Anushka's film in the theatres if Gang fails to perform well. Team UV already finalised some of the theatres and they wanted Gang's release in a minimum of 300 theatres of which 250 were identified.
UV Creations will have support from Geetha Arts. On the other side, Dil Raju will also be busy in blocking theatres for Agnyathavaasi release. Suresh Babu will have to allocate a minimum of 250 theatres for his film Rangula Ratnam. In between all this, UV team is seriously trying to get the theatres with a master plan. The team is also planning for an aggressive promotional campaign to catch the attention of everyone. Don't know who's behind this sudden change of plans in UV compound but it is undoubtedly a good thing. Let us see can Gang make it big this festival season?
