'Vada Chennai' is the film in the deadly combination of Dhanush and Director Vetri Maaran. They teamed up almost 7 years after making National Award-winning flick 'Aadukalam' (2011).
While unveiling the teaser of 'Vada Chennai' on the eve of his birthday, Dhanush told this movie is one step closer towards his dream project. He tried at least 2-3 different get-ups for the movie to depict various phases of the character.
Few shots in the Teaser are simply stunning. Dhanush breathed life into the character of carefree North Chennai Youth romancing Aishwarya Rajesh & the liplock creates a sensation. He appears like a completely different person as the gangster with heavy beard. Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, Ameer, Radha Ravi and Kishore make their presence felt.
Dialogues like 'Whether We Win or Lose, We Must Fight' and 'Huts Or Garbage Dump, This Is Our Home..We Must Fight For It..We Must Defend It' appear simple yet hit the right chord.
Santhosh Narayanan's BGM and Velraj's Camera Work makes 'Vada Chennai' a must watch. Vetri Maaran doesn't disappoint at all!
