It has been a long time since director Sreenu Vaitla faced a proper hit at the box office. He faced 4 back to back blockbusters with 'Aagadu', 'Bruce Lee', 'Mister' and 'AAA'.
Especially, he faced a lot of criticism after 'Amar Akbar Anthony' movie as he had been using the same template of the story for every movie. Until Dookudu, the director used to team up with writers Gopi Mohan and Kona Venkat. But, a big fallout took place between the Sreenu Vaitla and Kona Venkat during 'Baadshah' over credit sharing and they both are not on good terms from then. During 'Bruce Lee', Charan convinced Sreenu and Kona, but the duo parted during the making of the film itself. Everyone thought that duo cannot work together anymore. But, as per the latest reports, Sreenu Vaitla is now on good terms with both his writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan and the trio are going to come back soon.
Sources claim that Gopi Mohan is scripting a story for Sreenu Vaitla's upcoming movie whereas Kona Venkat is penning the dialogues. More details about the project will be out soon. Let's see if Sreenu Vaitla can get back into the form with the backing of his writers.
