Vakkantham Vamsi as a writer delivered some super hit movies like Kick, Yevadu, Oosaravelli, Temper etc. But his forever dream of becoming a director came true because of Allu Arjun. Vakkantham Vamsi marked his directorial debut with Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India movie. However, the movie was not that impressive and the audience are eagerly waiting what Vakkantham Vamsi will do next.
In fact, Vakkantham Vamsi was supposed to do his debut film with young Tiger NTR. When Vamsi was still a writer, NTR got impressed with his scriptwriting style. He promised said that he will definitely do a movie with him and even gave some advance. Vakkantham Vamsi has revealed this in so many interviews. After waiting for a long time, Vamsi started a movie with Bunny and the movie Naa Peru Surya has finally hit the screen. As this story only focused on the hero, the film is also getting some negative reviews as well. There is a talk that when Vamsi narrated a script Taarak, he suggested some changes in the script. If he would have done that then he could have completed the movie by now.
Also if Naa Peru Surya movie becomes a blockbuster, then the situation would have been different. From Ram Charan to NTR all the star heroes would have come forward to the movie with him but after seeing the result of Naa Peru Surya, which star hero well accept to do a movie under the direction of Vakkantham Vamsi has become a hot topic. But Vamsi has already stated that the script he wrote for Taarak is still with him. Will he modify the script or will he just do movies with Mega heroes as per his reported contract of 2 movies with Geetha Arts? Let's see..
