Considering the huge success of 'F2' and positive buzz ahead of the release, Movie Buffs expected the Pre-Release Business of 'Valmiki' to beat the previous best of Varun Tej by a huge margin. Shockingly, The theatrical business of this mass entertainer wasn't exceptional but just in the range of previous films of Mega Prince.

Pre-Release Business of 'Valmiki' hadn't even touched Rs 30 crore. Why is it so? Did the poor form of 14 Reels in the recent years made the Distributors play a safe game? It could be one of the crucial factors for sure.

Buyers of 'Valmiki' might have grabbed a jackpot. More than 80% recovery happens in the first week itself if this Varun Tej-starrer hits the bull's eye.
