Vangaveeti in the same Theatre after 28 Years

People of Vijayawada can't forget the violent incidents which happened on December 26th, 1988. Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga who took up indefinite fast was hacked to death by his opponents who pretended to be devotees. Post this brutal murder, Several Government and Private Properties were damaged during the group wars.
The famous Alankar Theatre in Vijayawada was badly damaged during the riots. It was set ablaze by the protesters and nothing except the walls remained. After few years, This theatre has been renovated.
28 Years after that unfortunate incident, 'Vangaveeti' is being screened in Alankar Theatre. As a result, Tight security arrangements have been made at the theatre.
Ram Gopal Varma received many threats since the day he launched 'Vangaveeti'. Police Department is on high alert in Vijayawada to prevent any untoward incidents in the city. All the theatres & landmarks in the city were provided with sufficient police force. It's too early to predict how Ranga's supporters and his opponents would react upon watching the movie.
