Voting for the crucial Nadigar Sangam elections have begun Today at St.Ebbas School in Mylapore amid tight security arrangements.
Actress Varalaxmi (Sarathkumar's Daughter) maintains Nadigar Sangam elections have no effect on her friendship with Vishal. She declares her vote is for her dad Sarathkumar and states the promises made should be fulfilled who ever might emerge victorious.

About 240 Members of Nadigar Sangam were denied the right to vote as they haven't been paying Membership Fee.
Nadigar Sangam Elections happen once in 3 Years. Sarathkumar was retained the post for the 3rd time unopposed in 2012. This time its not going to be a cake walk and Nassar's Camp is expected to win.
