Director Krish Jagarlamudi is all praise for his hero Varun Tej and says there is 'Kanche' without the Mega Hero. "Varun Tej is the only guy who can play Doopati Haribabu. I'm telling, Varun Tej is going to become a huge star, more than that he is going to be a great artiste...save it..the actor in you!," he declares.
After watching the rushes, Naga Babu thanked Krish for giving a wonderful project to Varun Tej for exhibiting his talent. In response, Krish told the Mega Brother that he actually need to thank him just because Varun Tej is the only actor in him mind to play Doopati Haribabu and he can't imagine what would have happened if the one-film-old Actor was busy with other film when he approached him.
Krish reveals why Varun Tej don't want tags before his name in 'Kanche' title card - "While naming the titles our Co-Director used 'Mega Prince' before Varun Tej. Just 2 days before we could send it for printing, Varun called me to inquire how his name will be written in the title cards. He told me not to use any kind of tags before his name as wants to say true the character he plays and feels 'Kanche', a honest film, should belong to the whole team. He said he is okay using such tags for films like 'Loafer' but not 'Kanche'. Such a great upbringing..Hats off to Nagababu garu & His Wife. Great Kid & Great Hero".
