Varun Tej, the son of Konidela Naga Babu entered the film industry and earned the tag, 'Mega Prince' Since his debut film Mukunda, Varun Tej is constantly striving hard to showcase something different to the audiences and fans. With each passing movie, he is trying to give his best. He is already much ahead of his cousins in terms of choosing the projects and taking a risk by just not trusting the commercial format cinema alone.
As every other young hero in the industry is following the trend, Varun Tej is changing the equations and climbing the ladder. He is not restricting himself from taking risks and is now game for a new one in the direction of Harish Shankar.
It is a known news that the Gabbar Singh director is planning to remake Tamil hit Jigarthanda in Telugu. Bobby Simha, the Telugu speaking Tamil actor played the villain in the movie and earned a National Award for his performance in Jigarthanda. Harish wanted to cast Varun Tej for this particular role. Even though it is a villain role, Varun is said to have given his nod for the project without any inhibitions and conditions.
Both the actor and director did not condemn the news so far and it is giving the strength to the speculations. When his career is in the right path with a good number of movies, Varun is taking this challenge to discover more of him as an actor and we must appreciate him for that.
