Did Varun Tej Reject NTR Biopic?

Casting of NTR Biopic has been a sensation. Several established Actors in the Industry are associating with this prestigious project irrespective of the screen time. Vidya Balan, Rana, Rakul, Sumanth, Kaikala Satyanarayana and many others have signed the project already.
If the buzz is true, Krish Jagarlamudi approached Varun Tej to essay the role of Chiranjeevi in 'NTR' but the Young Hero turned down the offer politely. He seems to have taken such a decision as majority of the Mega Fans doesn't want that to happen.
Although Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna always shared a healthy equation, Mega Fans doesn't want anyone from Mega Family to associate with 'NTR' as the focus would be more on the elevation of the Legendary Personality. Some of them even questioned what is the need for such a role as NTR & Chiru have done only few films together.
Now, Krish have only two options - Casting Sai Dharam Tej if he is ready or Completely omitting the role of Chiru in 'NTR'. What's gonna happen?
