Tholiprema, established Pawan Kalyan as Balu and took him to greater heights as he chose wisely till, Khushi.
Now, with same title, another movie, with Varun Tej and Raashi Khanna as the lead pair, is doing well at the box office too.
Venky Atluri's directorial, Tholiprema released on 10th of February and the movie collected a share of 18 crores in the first week itself.
Trade pundits are suggesting that the movie has enough legs to move past 30 crores mark in the long run as other films are unable to bring in audiences to the theatres as this one.
Bhaagamathie, starring Anushka became a big hit but the collections of Tholiprema can easily cross this film.
Other films that got positive feedback from viewers, like Chalo, Awe are not going at the same speed as Tholiprema and the movie seems to have longer legs than these two movies.
The movie doesn't have a strong opposition till, March end, as Rangasthalam and Mahanati, are scheduled to come at the very end of the month.
Varun Tej seems to have settled well at the box office and if his next film has good content as the team promises, he could be the next popular box office hero of Tollywood.
