It is a known fact that Mega hero Varun Tej is coming back with another romantic entertainer and is using the title of his uncle Pawankalyan's iconic film Tholi Prema. The movie was expected to get released on February 9th. Other mega hero Sai Dharam Tej also picked the same date for the release of his upcoming movie Inttelligent.
To avoid the clash between their films, Varun postponed their release date to February 10th. However, the movie was hitting the US theaters a day ahead of their domestic release. However, this created the thoughts of movie getting pirated which made the Producers sleepless. Even acclaimed producer Dil Raju also suggested to ensure a lowest gap between the releases. Keeping the piracy aside, releasing the movie in overseas before the domestic release is taking a risk. Because a slightest negative talk about the movie will affect the collections greatly. The makers can't control the facebook trolls and social media shares as well.
So, producer BVSN Prasad decided to have a minimal gap between overseas and domestic release. Tholi Prema premiers will get aired from the evening of February 9th onwards. This premier show strategy has worked out well for Baahubali 2 and Arjun Reddy. Makers of Tholi Prema are also hoping for the same magic.
